I agree with you entirely. Processed foods are not the best choice for health. However, for those people who have had a long history and habit of eating prepared foods and has no idea about what a healthy diet is, learning how to make "healthier" selections in the market is very helpful.

Processed and frozen foods are usually very high in sodium used as a food stablizer and preservative with quantities ranging from 650 - 1100 mg of sodium per serving, which is half the daily recommended allowance in one meal alone. Add bottled salad dressing at about 450 mg for two tablespoons, 260 mg for two olives, 160 mg for seasoning on a vegetable side dish and you're at 1260 mg for an evening meal, without additional added salt. Breakfast bars, cereals and other prepared breakfast foods (not counting bacon, sausage and other meats), can contain another 120 - 320 mg of salt and lunch meats 500 - 650 mg. In addition, many so called healthy foods; such as some breatfast bars, some lean cuisine frozen meals and some yogurt also use high fructose corn syrup in their products. Not only is HFCS most likey made from GMO corn, but is is also a simple sugar that gets stored as fat in the body.

Our bodies need salt and suger to maintain overall health and balance, but consumers should educate theirself and choose the healthier source of these ingredients.

I believe that avoiding refined foods could be the first step for you to lose weight. They might taste very good, but prepared foods have got very little nutritional value, making you eat more to have enough electricity to get with the day. If you're constantly ingesting these foods, moving over to whole grain products and other complex carbohydrates will assist you to have more power while ingesting less. Interesting blog post.

Thank goodness someone is approaching such an important subject and offering
practical information in tackling anxiety and panic before important occasions. An Expressive Arts therapist and the author of Wowzacise - an Ecstatic Aerobics process, I also coach people how to through many of these debilitating states. One safe way of channeling intense energy that is interfering with the ability to think clearly, is bouncing on an exercise Ball. Amplifying anxious responses by 'Shaking Out the Crazies ' on the ball generates massive circulation and even gets endorphin - the chemical of joy to flow. Once surface stress is released, an extra bonus is to chant, "I can do it! Yes I can!
